Sorry, can't remember who pointed me to this site, but I'm going to give it a try.
GuzziDiag
GuzziDiag
Rob thanks for the help. the info i needed was right under my nose but i couldnt smell it. turns out , i have the 2nd of the 2 cables out there that need the pins soldered to work. I just needed to open up the cable to find out what chipset it had. Currently downloading info !! thanks again5AM, that's great news.
First you have to get the cables. Amazon & eBay have them both, but I didn't see any US sellers of the Fiat cable so if you're in a hurry, go with Amazon. The JPDiag Faq should tell you everything that you need to know.
To reset the DTC code (or adjust the trim or reset the TPS) you can go with either JPDiag or GuzziDiag. (There's also a wireless Bluetooth solution if you have an Android phone. Search for M5x in the Play Store and get one of these along with the Fiat 3 pin cable.)
To turn off the Lambdas, you'll have to use TunerPro and GuzziDiag. You first dump your ECU with GuzziDiag reader, edit that file with TunerPro then flash your ECU with GuzziDiag writer. The GuzziDiag parts are easy it's the TunerPro that may be a problem.
TunerPro is a generic program. It works with a bunch of different ECU's. It does this by requiring an XDF file that's a description of your ECU's dump file. Without a good XDF file, you can't edit your file. I have one for my ST3 but its very doubtful that it'll be correct for yours. I don't know where you can get one for your bike. In the TunerPro forum there was a user named 916RS who was very knowledgeable. Perhaps he'd be able to help you out or try a post in your bike specific forum here. You may get lucky.
Hope this helps,
Rob
