Bolt install update: Got them in and I noticed that the front bolts took awhile to get to the 50 lb. click but the rear clicked alot sooner. Does that sound right? I double checked and they are all clicking at 50 lbs. I got a set of the Desmo Times faring kit so that goes on tomorrow. I am getting the bike ready for my cross country trip next month. I am leaving the eastern shore of Maryland and I am heading out to the west coast and back. I am taking 4 weeks to make the trip so I will be taking my time getting out there and back. Thanks again for your help.
I have a '98 ST2 and I ordered a set of Nichols engine bolts from CA Cycleworks. I am installing today and I am wondering if you installed the spacers that were provided? It seems like if you do then the bolts extend past the frame and the frame plugs cannot be reinstalled. Any help you could provide would be appreciated.
Hey VA Duc. I'm new to the Richmond area and was wondering how Redline was as far as a Duc dealership? I recently sold my 01-748 Bip I purchased in MD which I bought from Speed's Cycle. I'm thinking of the MTS S Touring and was maybe gonna shoot down to Redline or up to NoVA. Thanks! -Matt
