Greetings..looking for workshop manual (PDF) for 2019 multistrada 1260 enduro...be on sale or for free download. Thanks for the helping hand.

It doesn't exist within the public domain. Ducati has never made service manuals available for the 1260 bikes, you can find the part number for it in the catalog but they won't sell it to you unless you're an authorized dealer.

Best available alternative is a PDF service manual for a 2015 bike, which you can find by searching, probably on this forum.

That's like seeking a unicorn's tear drop.
However, you can access my file for the 1200 enduro here:

An interesting note on this Manual. It seems to be missing a few pages on refitting the front wheel. It shows inserting the axle and tightening calipers but never goes through the sequence of tightening the pinch bolts and the axle nut. I defer to a 2015 Multistrada S manual for that part - same set up.

If someone will supply me with the part number for this manual, I'll see if I can go thru a back door and get one --Cost I have no idea until I see what I can do

Who knows what they were thinking at the time of printing.
Service manuals are not written for newbs. Like certain recipe cook books, they require basic knowledge.
True story: While in my teens, I bought a cook book as a gift for my mom. She seldomly used it and told me that either the ingredients or the method was above her skill set. For example, following a recipe is difficult if you don't know what a Roux or Holly Trinity is. Same holds true for workshop manuals.

Refitting the front wheel is always the same.
1)Lube axle
2)Tighten the axle nut ( on the captive leg) while leaving the free leg un-torqued.
3)Bounce the forks to settle the axle in place
4)Torque to specs on both sides (Any pinch bolts are always done 1-2-1)
5)Squeeze the brakes and hold (to align them) while tightening the caliper bolts 1-2-1

Notice the painter's tape. That's not in the shop manual either. BTW, I had some on the wheels also prior to removing the calipers to prevent nicks.

I dont know yet but thats what my friend is trying to do --see if there is a way around to get a copy. If he is able to print the pages it would take a good while but then I would have a hard copy, but disk or thumb drive would be the tit's. If he can pull it off I have no idea how much it is going to cost me --But I would have to charge something to recoup my costs--But lets worry about that when & if he can pull it off

I can get one & sell it to one of you then you make copies and charge the others --Or I can purchase it & sell copies, --depending on how many are wanting this & how much the copies will cost me to have made would have an impact on the price. But I will not order it until I have it paid for or until I have enough prepaid orders to cover my costs.

It's just going to depend on how many want to pony up & commit to this ---just as an example if 4 people want one it would be $119.25 each PLUS my cost to have them printed.

So if anyone is looking for this manual please send me a PM, Once I have enough people who want it and will pay in advance I will order this. The more people interested the less it costs everyone. ---There are a few unknown's at this time----I will probably have to have these printed --I suspect that Ducati may have the CD or Thumb Drive protected where it cannot be copied--If not I could put it on a thumb drive or a CD---but I have a strange feeling that this I will be unable to do. --So I cannot give you at this point a price for having the manual printed--I dont know how many pages it is, & I dont know if a printer will give me a better price for multiple copies vs a single copy.
And by the way when I order this it includes every 2019 Ducati model--So if you have a another model I would also be able to supply service manuals for those as well.

I appreciate that you're willing to put the effort into this, but I think you may run into problems you're not anticipating. If it were really as easy as printing the manual like any normal document, someone would have figured out long ago to install FoxIt, print the entire manual to unprotected PDF, then distribute the files wherever you like.

What if the manuals are in an encrypted format that can only be opened in an app supplied by Ducati, which only allows printing of 2-3 pages at a time? That's a relatively common practice with this sort of documentation, when protecting the IP is a concern.

Not trying to be discouraging, but you may be looking at a dozen hours of labor, printing a 1000+ page manual two pages at a time, just to convert one protected manual into a shareable document. Are you willing to invest that kind of time, for free?

OK another update---I have verified that this thumb drive cannot be copied --So there are 2 options--Option #1 spend $477.00 and get your own copy, ---Option #2--refer to previous post
