It doesn't exist within the public domain. Ducati has never made service manuals available for the 1260 bikes, you can find the part number for it in the catalog but they won't sell it to you unless you're an authorized dealer.

Best available alternative is a PDF service manual for a 2015 bike, which you can find by searching, probably on this forum.

OK I am working on this, The manual is now either on a thumb drive or on Ducati DCS, I have a friend at a dealer seeing if he can download this bikes manual to another thumb drive or a CD or print it. I shall have an answer later may not be today but we shall see
If you can pull this off you'd have a lot of very grateful people, but from what I was told all Ducati manuals since sometime around 2017 are all DRM'd up and have to be accessed through the DCS, they don't even give you the ability to print off pages.

I dont know yet but thats what my friend is trying to do --see if there is a way around to get a copy. If he is able to print the pages it would take a good while but then I would have a hard copy, but disk or thumb drive would be the tit's. If he can pull it off I have no idea how much it is going to cost me --But I would have to charge something to recoup my costs--But lets worry about that when & if he can pull it off
If you can print a thing, you can print it directly to PDF, since some PDF converters appear as a physical printer to the host system.

I appreciate that you're willing to put the effort into this, but I think you may run into problems you're not anticipating. If it were really as easy as printing the manual like any normal document, someone would have figured out long ago to install FoxIt, print the entire manual to unprotected PDF, then distribute the files wherever you like.

What if the manuals are in an encrypted format that can only be opened in an app supplied by Ducati, which only allows printing of 2-3 pages at a time? That's a relatively common practice with this sort of documentation, when protecting the IP is a concern.

Not trying to be discouraging, but you may be looking at a dozen hours of labor, printing a 1000+ page manual two pages at a time, just to convert one protected manual into a shareable document. Are you willing to invest that kind of time, for free?
