Which Rizoma mirrors are as good as stock?

Do you want a mirror to appease the rules and not look too bad on the bike or are you looking for something that truly works better than stock? There are two aspects to think about - clarity and field of view. I've only tried a couple of different Rizoma mirrors and they didnt have a decent view at all. Personally I wouldn't use them. The clearest view I've experienced is with CRG Arrows. They look great, compliment the design of the bike, have the clearest (no buzz) picture, and the convex glass gives a full wide view of whats behind you. I hate not having a good mirror so I only use stuff that does the job of giving me a good picture of whats going on - The CRG is better than the stock mirror by a big margin and the stock mirrors are better than the Rizoma models I've tried. I have CRG's on every bike I own.

Another CRG user here. I have them on two motorcycles and they're very good mirrors. Much better then stock mirrors. The build quality is top notch and you can see well with them. I use the CRG Arrows on my SFS and the Lane Splitters on my Triumph Speed Triple.

Add me to the CRG fan boy list. They are one of the least expensive mirrors that are machined out of billet and some models have replacement glass available. How they function has already been covered. Can't beat them for the money.

Another CRG Arrow bar-end mirrors here. Love the design, no vibrations whatsoever, great price. highly adjustable, easy to dismount for track days.

Non-bar-end mirrors are just a fancy option for your elbows. How bad do you love looking at your elbows when you ride? lol

I've had CRG Arrow and Lanesplitters. The Arrows will give a wider field of view left-right, but top-bottom is narrower. It will also give you bigger image of whats behind you. The Lanesplitters will give a narrower field of view left-right but have more top-bottom. If you like the aesthetics of the Arrow, I would go for it. Personally I like the look of the Lanesplitters so I went with that on my Streetfighter.

+1 on CRG Lanesplitters; I never cease to be amazed at the clarity and steadiness of these bar-end mirrors, particularly coming from the OEM mirrors! Get the 3" size though...or the CRG Arrows (which I've never owned); you definitely will appreciate the extra rearward view when you take a look!
