I had the rs seat on a standard frame. It needed the brackets on the rear for the Dzus clips and a carbon bracket under the tank for another two clips.

 

Thanks for your reply, but the first link doesn't have a picture and I'm guessing it's a regular monoposto tail. The second one is an RS replica which doesn't fit on the stock subframe.

Motowheels has apparently had a tail that's similar to the one I'm after:

Although the silencer cover appears to be for the stock silencer. Naturally it can be modified but the shape is still different than the RS version.

 

The RS tail will fit the OEM sub frame. As already said, you only need two lips for the DZUS fasteners. I have found two extra pictures of the lips (taken from the same 749RS bike as the above reply

 

Thanks Dennie and final_edition. Time to start looking for the parts on the pictures. And naturally the RS bits as well - anyone willing to trade a big wad of cash for a kidney?

 

Found the two smaller brackets, anyone have an idea where to find the bigger carbon one?

Martin Jessop was the last to race that bike that Riders run.

 

Where did you find those small lips? Or did you made them yourself? The carbon bracket is very rare. A saw a few aluminium ones in the past, but never a carbon one.

 

I would guess an RS subframe is just as cheap as that CF piece and other hardware.

Then again, you have to modify an RS subframe to mount on the stock tank....

Ya, try to get a piece like that CF one machined out of aluminum.

 

All of the carbon bits in here are good motivation to start on my own projects! Thanks for sharing
