Thanks for the for posting the electrical wiring map. Honestly it is greek to me and beyond my technical skills ...
Rode it today on a long ride. Speedo indicator and mileage not working -(shows 0 mph/kph and mileage meter doesnt move). Temp indicator also only works intermittanly (doubt it is accurate when it shows a temp regardless). I got on it for a long straight up to 7500 rpm and it stopped running. EOBD light came on again. Dash Shows codes 10.2,11.2,12.2,13.2. Trailered it home. Checked fuses - the 3 amp fuse (above 20 amp near fuel pump relay was burned out). Put in a new one but EOBD light remains on. Switched out the fuel pump relay too, same result :(
Will try to send ECU out now for re-flash.

Update:

Sent the ECU to ecutesting.com in England. They report that it is faulty and cannot be fixed.
I have considered buying a ecu, lockset, instrument panel, etc. from a monster 1000ds or sport classic and take a chance that it will work...honestly the bike is not worth much so might just scrap/part it out.
I saw another thread on here that suggested just bypassing the relay with hardwire.
Any other suggestions/Ideas?

I was able to replace my computer with a used one and didn’t need all the extra stuff. Immobilized worked fine, started and ran fine. Willing to ship my old used one (does set codes for coils but still ran) for testing for the cost of shipping. Hit me up in a DM.

Ok thx krisrayner! PM sent. So are you saying that a Immobilized ECU from another multistrada 1000ds, monster s2r 1K, or sport classic should plug and play?

There are plenty here on the forum, and a bit of searching, will tell you how to turn off the immobilizer in the map file. Then keys and dash are no longer an issue. My 1000 ds throws an Immo error. But it is because it's off.

Kudos to krisrayner! With his used ECU installed, I have the bike up an running again. Will keep all my rides local for awhile so I dont get stranded if it dies on me again while out riding.

Speedo still doesnt give a read out (Stays at 0 MPH) so may need to investigate if my rear wheel pickup is faulty.
