Hi Everyone - my beloved GT100 has developed starting issues and now, even with new battery no longer starts at all. My bike shop of 20 years has lost their Ducati mechanic and now the rest of the team are struggling to get me starting again.
1. Where to get a hi-res wiring diagram for this bike. Ducati.com now only offers for late model bikes - and the manuals I can find online (so far) have very poor resolution images of the wiring
2. The suspicion is dodgy immobiliser- keys have been re-set - but still no go. I believe the immobiliser is in the instrument cluster. Repairable ? Or new instrument cluster needed? I’ve also seen mention to the key ‘antennae’ connection being an issue - any experience here with testing/resolving this?
3. Who can anyone recommend in Sydney Australia with proven experience in sorting out this sort of thing if my current shop runs out of options? I know everyone has strong opinions about various dealers - where/who is delivering good service on these older bikes ? After 20 years with one place I’m out of touch
