I jsut installed the Storz damper on my GT100 this weekend. I put approx 100 miles on after the install. Even at 0 clicks I feel a difference in high speed stability. Yes the "around town" driving is going to take some getting used to, but I think the trade-off is worth it. My questionr are:
1. Am I correct that the damping effect (at low & high speeds) will not change the handing charicteristics of the GT100o that I love so much, but at low speeds you have to "puch"/Countersteer a bit harder to follow the line you desire?
2. Upon installation I have VERY LITTLE but equal amounts of travel left on both sides of the damper (VERY LITTLE). The damper is not acting as a sterrring stop, but it is mighty darn close. Is this correct? Will the amount of travel increase/decrease after the seals break in? or will this remain constant provided the fork clam & frame clamp never move position?
