Sounds like you are going to have a fast hyper. I would suggest doing the flywheel before everything else..... I just put a nichols on my bike. I LOVE IT!!! whole different bike

 

This is something I'd ike to do, but I'd love to fit a middle weight flywheel, the nichols is to light, I need one around a kilo weight.

We turn stock flywheels down to any weight you want ($75) or any good machine shop can, most common are done to just under a kilo (1lb 12 oz) for over 2 kilo stock. I reccomend to stay away from aluminum ones since the splines take a lot of load and can shear (we see a few a year come in the shop) which will get shavings in the oil and the starter wont work because the sprag mounts to it.

Turn the flywheel wight down is an option, but I want to keep my stock flywheel, just in case.

As for the pistons, I'm looking for a straight replacement, like the 1080.

Wisco pistons have been around from the '70's. I've had great success with them. I wouldn't hesitate to use them myself.

What's the gain fitting this big-bore or Hi Comp piston kits ? Low/midrange torqe, peak power ? 1 or 2 horses ?
