The 39 is the way to go on those bikes.

By the way does anyone know the stock amount of teeth on a 95 SS CR sprocket? I'm not the first owner and want to see if the sprocket was replaced.

 

The stock sprocket should be a 37 as stock. To my taste the 40 rear is a bit too much. If you want to try that ratio, you can change the front to a 14 for about $20.

We have the 39 sprocket in stock for your bike in the AFAM brand (i think these are about the best you can buy. I like the steel AFAM for longevity. $49.10 plus shipping from us.

 

Thanks NCRick. I checked and I do have the 37, let me talk to my mechanic buddy and see what I should go with and I will get back to you. Right now I having issues with these fairings I bought that came with "100% satisfaction" and look just bad! But now the seller won't take them back. My first complaint with something I bought from Ducati Index.
