He made a template of the MTS Termi so he should be able to just fabricate it & send out. He makes these modifcations for all different kinds of bikes and exhausts. His initial communication was...
"You may lose 1 or 2 more hp because of your system being a single outlet design compared to twin outlets. Your midrange may be better however. In any case, there should be no perceptible loss of power, with a drastic noise reduction.

 

Anybody spoken to Jay recently?........I emailed him several days ago but have had no reply :-(

 

I sent out an email to him. He will want your exhaust to fit the DB killer to your particular can.

I never got the standard one that was supposed to come with the bike, can les96, can you comment on how much the noise differs?

For those that have fitted one of the custom DB killers, would it be possible to get a sound clip of the finished product or at least a photo.

I've just fitted the full Termi, and as Konvert says I don't want to advertise excessive throttle use. Somewhere between stock and the Termi would be ideal.

Just got mine back and installed. The sound is not as harsh and its probably closer to the Termi than to the stock exhaust. I have yet to take a ride on it. Jay said that the difference is much more noticeable when you ride the bike.

 

A photo of the OE Db killer against the Jay's custom one would be good.

Does Jay have a website?

 

Any updates on how you liked this custom DB killer? Does it still sound deep but not as loud or is it more high pitched and also not as loud?

Hi Jay, I picked up your details from the ducati.ms forum and understand that you make a custom/replacement dbkiller for the full Termi system end can (muffler).
What's the cost and how much will p&p to the UK be?

I emailed him not too long ago... maybe last week and he responded.

 

Maybe it's a gmail/aol issue?....I know aol had a rep for over zealous anti-spam measures at one time and gmail is popular with the spammers!

I'll try to get a clip with my I phone. It sounds very nice but not Termi obnoxious. In retrospect it may even be closer to the stock can in loudness than the Termi can.

On, another note, he will need your can as he said that the tolerances are different between cans and the fit will not be right unless he templates from your can. I had sent him an email with some feedback and he said he would be interested in fabricating more. This was a number of months ago.
