This confirms I've read elsewhere. Guess G12+ (like eni bike s) is the best option then. Longlife, change after 36 months.

 

As always a balancing act.
too many silicates and you can have issues with seals and the aluminum.
Too few and you can end up with buildup inn passageways.
A LOW silicate formula will help keep the system clean as well as not harm your seals or aluminum.

Agree. But who sells this? G12++ is the best option then.
Strange that Ducati refers to shell glyco and eni bike s with is without silicate etc.

 

I have been using Pentofrost NF in all of my motorcycles for years. For BMWs of which I have owned several always used Zerex G05, it is low silicate. The newer BMWs use silicate free coolant. If you look at specific brands of G12++ some say silicate free so research what is available. Otherwise the violet Peak antifreeze for european vehicles, or Zerex HD diesel formula is low silicate.

Oh and meant to add, people put far to much thought into this to them mix it with tap water. Use good coolant, use distilled water. In the bikes I drain and change mine every year. Coolant is cheaper than breakdowns.

The only info on their website is: Nitrate, amine and borax-free. It is pre-mixed with DI water.

Been using it for many years also in my Trials bike that runs pretty hot, no problems.
