So I just finished installing my new pistons and FCR's, got everything reassembled and hit the starter (ignition off) to spin it around a bit. Unfortunately there is now a ringing sound coming from the engine. I stuck the turning tool on and discovered it rings with every detent of turn in the forward direction. If I turn it backwards there is no ringing. Any ideas what might be going on? I'd really rather not disassemble the whole thing again, but I'm thinking that's just what's I'm going to be doing. meh...
