here’s a project I’ve been thinking about for some time: I’d love to get an old 750 Sport / SS 70’s style front headlight fairing on my Biposto.
As much as I like the stock factory Sport Classic S / PS models, I’ve always found their half front fairing kind of “too bulky” for me. I’d much prefer something leaner in the style of what Walt Siegl has made for his Leggero models for instance.
Has anybody successfuly mounted/adapted a 750/900 SS style front fairing on a Sport Classic mono or biposto?
What fairing builder & model would you advise to start with?
Would a stock 750/900 SS replica model fit, or would that need to be custom to look good ? (not talking about the mounting brackets but more about the overall fairing size/shape Vs the Sport Classic stock tank / chassis).
Please don’t hesitate to share any photo / advise / experience on that kind of project.
