That sucks for me. I am sure there are many like me (1200 S Touring) who want the all the V4S has to offer only with 17" wheels - the new PP misses the mark again for me - my 1200S feels compact next the V4 models - necessarily bigger - even the new GS is smaller. May be BMW will make the rumored M1300GS with 17" wheels. Nothing makes to upgrade from my 9 year old 1200 S Touring for me. I have ridden miles on V4S and previous 2023 V4 PP.
I have a similar opinion. New V4 platform is amazing. It's an advancement in nearly all aspects. But to your point about size; I agree. The new bikes are wicked quick but they are bigger. And heavier. They don't feel like the Testastretta 1200, which in its time, was looked as big. How times have changed.

I love all the advancements with the new bikes, but again, they just don't feel the same as the 1200 bikes. It's tough for me to make that leap, especially since these new bikes are so much more expensive. But they are sweet!

Hard to beat the '12 graphics...

My man! I still have #26. But she's torn down as to remove the injectors for a clean and rebuild. I love this bike.
