I'm considering getting the full race exhaust to get rid of the Cat. It's too much heat in the summer. I visited a friend yesterday who had one installed and really like it. He had it re-mapped and the throttle response is excellent. Its just the cost .....
I see now that there are a few choices that just eliminate the cat with a mid pipe and you keep the stock exhaust and headers. Its less expensive option and it would still eliminate the heat which is my main concern, the bike is already fast as hell. With the stock exhaust it might be a little queiter. I assume you would still want to remap.
I'm wondering if this would be an issue with my warranty. I have the extended ever red. These mid pipes seem to run between $500 to $1100 for a titanium. I'm ok spending a little more if it's a better product and weighs less. Any experience would be helpful.
