I have a ducat scrambler sixty2, bought it used less than a month ago.
I Just learned that you can lock the handlebars,
when i tried to do it on mine, the key would not move past half the "push" mark. why is that ? am i missing something؟
I put the key in, turned it on, then off, pushed down and turned left, wont move any further , key wont come out either , untill i turn it back to off.

Steering locks generally only work with the steering in one position. Usually that is turned completely - or almost completely - to the left.
Try turning your steering all the way to the left and then try. You may have to jiggle the steering to find the point where it will lock.

With the key in the off position, turn the handlebars to the left. Then try pushing/turning the key to the left. Don’t turn the key from off until the bars are in the correct position.

Trying to force the key before the steering/handlebars are in the correct position is not a good idea.
