Just noticed that continental produced some additional sizes for TKC 80 tires

  • 120/70 B 17 M/C 58Q TL M+S (front)
  • 180/55 B 17 M/C 73Q TL M+S (Rear)

I know its not a 190 but still the closest (and sounds safer for MTS when compared to previous 150 rear)

btw they are listed on the global site yet not located in the catalogue (which is linked to the very same page). hmmm..

has ne1 already tried them out for some "light-offroad-with-a-maxi-enduro" kinda trip?

cheers.

Yup, the 180/55 will work. It's slightly shorter and narrower than the stock 190/55 but, unless you're Valentino Rossi, you won't notice the difference. My Tuono came with a 190 rear and I replaced it with a 180 due to the increased availability of that size. I didn't notice any difference in the handling.

yet I still wonder if the front fender will reject the installation because of tkc`s thick grips.

hmm.. :)
