I was driving down the strip today when a car got into my lane and ran me into a curb!! Luckily they were doing some landscaping next to the road and I hit wood chips instead of concrete. The jerk did not even slow down. I need a new front wheel and front plastics. If anybody has extra pieces laying around drop me an email. I am also wondering if anybody has tried the airtech conversion kits. I was thinking it may be cheaper? And no I did not have full coverage.

That sucks man... a similar thing happened to me once but I ended up in a highside with the bike severly damaged and me lightly damaged... at least it was my Ninja and not the Ducati.

there is a front and rear wheel on Ebay listed under or as Monster wheels I think...the front was like $50 Buy It Now and the rear was a $100 Buy It Now I think...I'll see if I can find the auctions for you....as far as the Airtech kit...I think Shibbydevil have some experience with fitting one on your generation of SS and may even still have one ready to go for sale....I would ping him if you can!....glad you are okay and sorry you had a get-off like you did....foooking cagers suck!

yeah, I would stick with factory or find the shark skins stuff. I like the fit and finish of that more than the airtech stuff. All the ones I had were made long ago when the quality was good, but their new stuff is total shit in my opinion. Gelcoat is way to thick and brittle, and it is twice as heavy as their early stuff. Just my two cents.

I'd buy the stock stuff... I had to replace a fairing on my 900SS once (I had CR fairings on it at least) and wasn't happy with the look of any of the aftermarket stuff. Just my $0.02.

Did you find the guys? was it hit and run? Happened recently here to a Sprint ST rider. The bitch cager didn't even stop but he got her plate number and she will PAY!

They used to always talk about the "rolling blind spot" and dont hang out in it when riding Well that spot has just been expanded to 360 degs around any cager using a cell phone.
