I can almost see that silly grin on your face. I know the feeling.
Give yourself some time to get used to her. I too was a cruiser guy a while ago, but a bike like these will convert most people, IMHO.
You may want to give the stock seat a try. I'm using the stock one on mine and feel no slipping or discomforted even on long days. The 04's on up, are marked improvements in the seats and the headlight system.
