i was just wondering if anyone out there knows whether or not an 02 900ss rear shock (ohlins) will fit on a 96 900ss.

This will make your SS lean over further on the kickstand though LOL, not to hijack another thread...........

The newer shocks are about 2-3mm longer than the old style.

NOW THATS JUST WHACK! but im only 5'5 so i needed to lower my 97 SS just to touch the ground!

dude - get a real seat, seargent or corbin, and you will lower the seat height by almost 2"...

hint hint hint

oh and it's easy enough to mod a kickstand, just tig some extra material in...

I've gotten to appreciate the leaned over sidestand look. It kinda says "Look, this bike is almost falling over now, you better not mess with it."
