There are a few bikes that uses Ducati´s engine in there own chassie.
The best known of which are Bimota (all DB models and Tesi) and Cagiva (Elephant). Arguably the Cagiva Mito should also be included, since it´s design is directly transfered from the Ducati 916.
As for MV Augusta.. The only crossreference is for the F4 Tamburini designed models, but that isn´t enough. The MV´s are a diffrent bike.
The Aprilia´s are a better choice, since they are Italian sports twins, just like Ducati´s. But I´d hate the forum to become an "all italians welcome" type forum.
There are alot of fine Italian machinary out there. Ducs, Bimota´s, Cagiva´s, MV´s, Moto Guzzi´s, Laverda´s, Aprilia´s and so on. But the fact is that this forum is Ducati.ms and not italianbikes.ms
In the heart of all DB Bimotas and Cagiva Elephants beats a heart made at Via Ducati,
borno pangiale, Bologna, Italy
