I took my swingarm off of my 2004 999 and painted it black. I kinda lost the order of the bearings and how they went in but no big deal, i have the diagram. I'm putting in everything as it shows and there's no way that on the left side of the bike having those two bearings/washers that I highlighted red would make it fit. They are two wide and I can't get it to slide up in order to put the pivot rod through to secure the swing arm. Any ideas??
The bearings on the left side are needle type make sure none have dropped
out or stuck in the cage which will stop the 2 pivot spindle sleeves sliding all the way in.
That's in Newton meters......72Nm=53ft.lb. torque and 42Nm=30ft.lb torque......just in case!
