Why can't i get the damn swingarm back on!!

I took my swingarm off of my 2004 999 and painted it black. I kinda lost the order of the bearings and how they went in but no big deal, i have the diagram. I'm putting in everything as it shows and there's no way that on the left side of the bike having those two bearings/washers that I highlighted red would make it fit. They are two wide and I can't get it to slide up in order to put the pivot rod through to secure the swing arm. Any ideas??

I just did that with mine and it fits.

Make sure that you haven't mixed up parts #9 & #12 with parts #4.

Are your parts #5 just below the surface of the swingarm surface?

Are your bearings (parts #6) touching each other inside?

got it on!! Torque #'s please

Thanks everyone! I got it on, i had two of the bearings backwards, slid right in!

Can someone please let me know what the torque #'s are for the two circled bolts? I checked my Desmotimes manual and it didn't state it =(

Thanks a bunchhhhh!
