I have 999 front forks on my 93 900ss. I went to Racetech's calculator and it said .85 springs for my weight and a 900ss, or .90 springs for my weight and a 999.

I'm guessing it has to do with the weight of the bike also so I should probably go with the .85 listed for the 900ss? I'm about 165 lbs., maybe 180-185 with all my gear on and only do street riding.

.85's would be a good choice. .90 if you want it a tad stiffer. You're kinda on the border. If you can get one of each for a combined rate of .875, that would be ideal.

Wow, I didn't even know you could mix fork springs. Since either will work, I think I'll just go for the .85 ones. Thanks.
