I just received my new carrozzeria wheels for my SS

WOW!
SWEET.

Thanks NC Rick
Awesome deal! And Fantastic service! Rick bent over backwards to make sure these wheels were going to be set-up the way I needed them.

I just took them down the hall to a nice digital scale, just for all you guys, my friends.

Weights do not include rotors:

3.5" front= 7.35 lbs
5.5" rear= 11.2 lbs.
cushdrive assembly= 1.75 lbs.

for general comparative purposes:

stock 3 spoke brembo 3.5" front= 11.5 lbs.
stock 3 spoke 4.5" brembo rear w/cush/sprocket/rotor/ and 160-60 tire= 32.2 lbs. [sorry, it's all set up...I'll weight it again when I strip it]

Brembo WSS 320mm rotors [aluminum carriers] 3.75 lbs.ea. [approximate]

Pirelli dragon supercorsa DOT's:
120-70 front= 9 lbs.
160-60 rear=12 lbs.
180-55 rear=13 lbs.

I'm shaving 4.15 lbs. just on the front
I'm guessing about the same savings...maybe a tad less, on the rear

Stock 3 spoke 4.5" brembo rear= 14.5 lbs. [no cush or rotor]

net weight saving on rear =3.3lbs. [bear in mind I'm going from a 4.5 to 5.5" rim...you'll save a bit more if you have a 5.5 stock rim]

stock rear rotor= 1.85-1.9lbs.

I think for the money, you can't beat it.

I'm not sure really, It should be done [hell, it has to be done...I want to lend it to a buddy to race at daytona march 3-5]

I am going to be burning the midnight oil for the next few weeks.

I'll make sure I make trackday event, so you can take it for a spin.
