1944 Condor

My second bike is a 1944 Condor M05 Swiss Army Bike (Militarvelo). Despite its age, it is rock solid, has only one speed, a drum and coaster brake in the back and rubber block that rubs on the front tire for a front brake. It weighs almost 60 lbs (27 kg), and I get my daily workout by riding it to and from work every day that is not dumping rain or snow. The model M05 was virtually unchanged from 1905 until the late 1980s when the Swiss Army decided to upgrade to a modern mountain bike. The Condor company was associated with Ducati in the 1960s and 1970s, as Ducati provided the engines for the Condor motorcycle.

Not as exciting as my 748R, but a nice second bike.

Hmmm, well is my Hypermotard my first bike and my 1098 my second bike, or is my 1098 my first bike and my Hypermotard my second bike. What a dilemma!
