Can someone tell me what the appropriate idle speed should be at cold start (during summer, around 70F)?

I'm wrapping up a big rewiring job on a customer bike after installing all new lighting and gauges. Just fired up for the first time and the Motogadget display reads 2600 rpm at cold start. This seems high...higher than it sounds audibly. Wondering if it's a calculation issue with the gauge or if that's a typical warm-up rpm for these.

ECU was just reflashed to delete immobilizer so I guess it could also be a learning curve that hasn't sorted out yet.

I would say with the cold start on no more then 1500 rpm--thats going by a warm idle @ 1000 rpm
