Every year I plan what goodies I can liklely afford for my Duc. So the question is what modifications or "bling bling" has or will your Ducati receive this year. Let's say... from last December (holiday puchases) through this coming November?

For my ST2 this season, goodies are or likely will be (pending);

STM lightweight alloy clutch
DP lightweight flywheel with Nichols flywheel jam nuts (for added security)
Cycle Cat slotted sprocket cover (silver)
Nichols timing cover with the "flying D" logo
Helibars
DP bagster tankbag and cover
FBF frame plug kit (tumbled finish)
Ferodo SinterGrip ST brakepads
TPO plug wires with new NGK plugs (worth a try)
Ohlins rear shock (resprung to my weight)...pend.
Race Tech Gold Valves and new fork springs...pend.
carbon fiber rear hugger...pend

next year...Marchesini forged aluminum wheels, new tires, DID (ZVM2) gold chain with new sprockets. I've also been drooling for one of BCM's 966 Super ST engine kits with the head work done. We'll see!!! ;)

As my St2 already has everything except titanium bolts and a CFfairing, I'm work on the SS.

This year, recieved or ordered:

BST wheels (ordered but not received yet)
Kaemna fairing (received last summer but not mounted yet)
Kaemna 220g flywheel
slipper clutch
removal of blinkers
CF fenders and belt covers
SpeedyMoto clutch cover (received by my sister in VT, but not forwarded to me until the Girl Scout cookies arrive)
SpeedyMoto frame sliders (ditto)

Pending (not yet ordered, but will be):
BrakeTech CMC front disks
Titanium spring
Titanium rear disk
RaceTech valves and springs (unless I go for the Penske stuff, in which case I'll do that while the engine is apart nest winter)

If I add in the things that I've done within the past 12 months (bike bought last March):
Composite tank
Sil slip-ons
43T rear sprocket (anodized aluminum)
Kaemna full-floater buttons
EBC HH pads
moto-bags

And next winter:
1078cc kit and head-work
Penske mod to forks (if I don't do the RaceTech stuff this year)

Hope that I haven't forgotten anything.

Hey bluest2 or st2lemans do either of you want to adopt me?:D

My "mods" for the winter were fixing a slightly damaged right side fairing. Other than that I just want to add miles and tires to the SS this summer.

Damn Tom...you win!
Hey, what did the rotor buttons cost you over there?

Oh, and I've settled on a Zard system for the S2R [ordered it from Moto]
cans are on ea. side of the bike. Very slick, and the price was un-beatable.

Most of my "bling bling" money is budgeted to be spent on maintenance and travel expenses as I plan to do a lot of touring this coming riding season, though I'd really like to invest in some aftermarket slip-ons.

I am going to purchase a new,1-2 person, lite-weight tent as my old one leaks like a colander.

I'd like to ad a new K1200S and a Triumph 675 as stablemates but probably not until next year.
Unless of course my son keeps getting those scholarships...

Synergy, Holy $hite!!! I think you've outdone st2lemans for Duc mods and farkle! Although those BST wheels that st2lemans has on order really do take the cake. Your bike sounds pretty bit$hin' though. Enjoy that "bad boy"!

Well, I can always add in the ST2 mods from the year before:

10-spoke Marchesini forged magnesium wheels
Discacciati full floating cast iron disks (front and rear)
Ferodo CP911* pads
Kevlar brake and clutch lines
Helibar adapters with super-bike clipons
front and rear CF fenders, and key surround
CycleCat rearsets
Ohlins rear shock
Ohlins front springs
RaceTech fork valves
MBP testarossa heads
Hi-comp Pistal pisons
Squish set to 1.0mm (no base gaskets)
Nichols flywheel
Slipper clutch
Nichols engine bolts
Open airbox
Metmachex swing-arm
DD healight
DZUS fasteners for fairing
ScottOiler
Evoluzione slave
14/43 gearing
FIM chip
Some aluminum bolts
DP slip-ons
MotoBags
Quick-release aluminum fuel cap (non-lockable)

To be done:

Install and adjust adjustable pulleys (at next belt change)
Chip tuning
TiN fork coating (next winter, do the SS forks at the same time)

I think that's everything.

Its not about trying to "outdo" anyone. I just try to outdo myself. Since I am doing 90% of the work on my bike in my garage. I just have a disease that I have to modify everything I own. I cant keep anything stock. From overclocking my computer, to building a home theater that rattles my neighbors windows, to pushing 2000w of power to my car stereo. Its a bad disease, since it all cost money and lots of it!

St2 has got a great list of mods and it think were the same type of animal

Yep. I do all my own work too. Even got a machine shop at work to cobble up stuff if necessary (spacers, clamps, etc.).

My LeMans got everything done to it that could be done pretty much, that's why I had to get some Ducatis and start doing those.

Also why I like the 2-valves. Cheaper to buy and lighter than a 4-valve, and I'd still need to do all this to a Superbike, so for the same money I prefer a heavily modified 2-valve to a stock Superbike.
