It is a larger "race" version of the stock 1098 radiator made by Tamburini. I keep a single cooling fan on a right side. It does kick from time to time while at the heavy traffic or while standing at the intersection on a red light. It has never let the motor to overheat. But I always monitor the engine temp dash indicator. After it was rebuilt with the high-compression pistons it aside from making it LOUD generates a ton of heat. So far so good.
Not sure if it counts as an upgrade, but I added one of those Cycle Guys Fast Pack sear bags today. Nice to have a place to put a sweatshirt or some other small things. I had to return a Canyon Dancer to the draganc (I bought his 999R the other day) and it fit in there no problem.
Those cans are staying exactly where they are. I already have one bike that is so loud it gives me a headache even when wearing earplugs. These days I am staying sonically under the radar (pardon the pun) as much as I can.
I've put about 200 miles on my SF V4S so far, I really like everything about the bike except for one thing. The Ducati Quick Shifter (DQS) doesn't work well for me. It cuts the engine but doesn't upshift about a third of the time. This is horrible while running hard. I adjusted the shifter lower...
Having a problem with my new pressure plate.
I removed the old one, and installed the new one,
But now I can’t tighten the springs like the old one. Seems like the new pressure plate is not as deep as the old one. This is the second pressure plate I am trying. Any ideas? See pictures...
i have a question about steering damper for my sf 848, which do You recommend, where to buy it, comparison to OEM dumper from SF S, can(will) fit to oem dumper kit form sf s, atc.....

Well I FINALLY got back to Houston and my bike. I was able to make a 135 mile ride today.
As luck would have it this week is hot as the surface of the sun (well at least it feels like it) here in Houston. The bike ambient temperature gauge read 94 degrees this afternoon on the ride... I think...
