I have a state inspection coming up and need some front pads. My 2003 999 is still running the stock Brembos HH. I was told today that Ferodo does all the manufacturing for Brembo brake pads. True?
Do you have a favorite pad for street use?

CP211 carbon ceramic on ductile iron rotors. They work well with stainless too.

anyone using Ferodo XR or XRAC pads on the street?

i've read this about them - Ferodo XR Throws you over the bars! Strong intial bite with much more power following.

sounds like what i'm after but i'm wondering if they need to heat up or am i going to be able to stop on dime with 2 fingers from 200km/160mph after a long run with the pads cold?

dangerous at low speeds i know :)
