Hello Everyone!

Thanks for the add. New to the forum. I'm building a custom race bike and really like this fairing that I've found on xbay and can't find a picture of a 900ss with it. None that are cut off flat on the bottom like this one. Does anyone know what this is? It's obviously Ducati. The listing says it's from a 95 900ss. Is it an aftermarket or custom half fairing? I really love it!

it is an aftermarket one for the 900ss. it is a smaller one than that of the factory cr, it was made by a European company I want to say maybe Belgian???? but that doesn't sound right to me. I do have a picture of it mounted on a bike somewhere if I can dig it out I will post it up. im sure someone else here will also be able to help as well.
If you are planning on using it for a race bike it is probably not your best route. it has a cutout for a headlight that you will not need and you will still need to fit a belly pan.

Thank you both for your responses. So, it's probably not an original piece. After some more consideration I'm going to buy an entire original front fairing and cut it up and close up the square headlight like the pick JB posted. This vintage track bike will not have a full fairing. It's just for fun.

yea but the airtech plastics dont have a headlight cutout in it --so it would be a lot easier

Putting tape over the headlight is a pain, taking the headlight out then taping it is worse and barely works. I got a large piece of vinyl roll that I cut to fit which makes it easier but the fairings without the headlight cutout are the best and good for at least 5mph down the straight, probably 10mph. 15mph with the full bodywork and no headlight cutout.
