Gotta say this bike is ticking all the boxes for what I want in a bike. I get a feeling there's going to be one in my garage some day.
Those stock pipes are hard to find and they like to rust from the inside.

Yeah, you are right because we all know that BMW and Honda do a pretty good job at making bikes... But lets hope Audi doesnt get any ideas...
Maybe the designer from Lotus was fired and moved next door to Aston?...

The Aston Martin/Brough got me thinking - I think the bike I lust after isn't available. It would have:
90deg v-twin
min 990cc
w/cooled
140 - 150rwhp
85+ ft/lb torque
Max 175kg wet
Funny front end - eg. Not telescopic forks, so hub-centre, Hossack, but not that weird combo BMW hang on the front.
SINGLE-SIDED SWINGARM at the back (front would be cool too)
Beautiful sports-bike styling with a full race fairing
Sports-bike handling
Suspension suitable for road and track
Trellis frame
130 road miles from a tank
Quality peripherals - wheels/brakes/gauges
A decent level of user-serviceability
Red paint
Ducati on the side
