Stevie Ray Vaughn - Texas Flood
Don't get any better than SRV. "Life without you" and "Life by the drop' ARE the best ballad type songs ever created. My cousin gave me a live SRV album for my birthday as a kid, and I've been hooked ever since. IMHO SRV and Double Trouble should have their own wing in the rock n roll hall of fame.

I tend to listen in streaks to my music, until I get sick of them. Then a few months later repeat the cycle. Right now its Big Head Todd, Charlie Robison, and Foo Fighters.

That's quite a list. I had every one of his albums a while ago, but they obviously must have released some since then as your list is much bigger.

If you are a fan, be sure to check out the "Arc Angels" albums too as they are his band.

Has anyone heard of Freddy Jones? Listened to some of his stuff today. One of my favorites.

I married my wife because she was at SRV's fatal show with Robert Cray and Eric Clapton and she rode a Ninja 600R.

In hindsight, boy was that a mistake :p

Does she have a sister? Or is she available?:D
