So, I'm pretty sure the Ducati spec sheet says that my 2018 1260 S weighs the same as my 2011 1200 S did. This however has to be complete baloney as it feels 40 lbs. heavier. And Motorcyclist Online actually weighed the DVT 1200s and pronounced them 20 lbs. heavier than the original 1200s. So, my question is, has anyone actually ever weighed their 1260? I'm curious what the real wet weight is...sure it doesn't matter, but I'm curious.

The 1200 DVT multi is more like 50lbs heavier than the 11's (465 vs. 420 dry). The 1260 is supposedly the same weight as the 1200 DVT... which even if it's not true I suspect is close (the bikes are very similar overall).

Thanks Dave, I didn't realize the DVT was that much heavier than the 11. In light of that, I agree the 1260 probably weighs about the same. I see that Ducati's website is now showing 461 for the dry weight of the 1260. For a long time, it was showing 417 which I knew could not be correct!
