Copy your swap? Have you already fitted a ST3 motor? Be interested to see how you got on. As for copy didn't copy anyone .......started in 2008 and still not quite finished.Glad to see people are starting to copy my swaps now. The 900ss platform if a great bike. Just lacked power. After a quick swap its got power with time less lines..
Waiting on some carbon half fairings (No indicator cut out) hopefully here this week then I can finally paint the bike and she should be more or less done.............apart from the odd bit of bling.Been swapping these since 2001. I'm just glad that someone else is now breathing new light into the best looking bikes.

What headers did you have before? Those are great #'s for an St3 based motor.Howdo!!
Well finally got my headers done by Mark Hill of MHP and he's done a superb job, will stick a few pics up soon.
So with the MWR filter and headers done it was up to see Chris at CJS

Removed the PCIII and set about remapping the ECU.........what a result the bike really does have that extra Ooooomph at the top end.
Bike made 123Bhp and 78lb of torque
Chris reckoned more would be possible with more lift, however no performance cams available. To be truthful happy with the bike.
Very impressive, i always thought the St3 headers looked pretty small and by the shape of the stock torque curve, it seems the 3 valve motor is choke up some on the top end breathing.Alright Rob,
Bike had a full Sil-motor (45mm) race system when I had the 2-valve engine, had to modify the front and rear headers to connect to the 4 stud configuration on the ST3 cylinder heads. Also had lambda bungs fitted for the re-map. Very light system and gives good power all the way through the range.
Ha ha ha. Thanks mate. I'm not really telling everyone, (not even the bike) because it may not happen for a long time or even at all, but do you know what the bike got for Christmas? A set of Ohlins R&T forks. (All *I* got was a $10 key-ring!) Of course it's all the 'other bits' (discs, calipers, master cylinders) that are the real kicker.Howdo Hame!
