Second call for vintage racers:
Vmoto is hosting a two-day event with races and "parades" of vintage bikes:

Vmoto Spring Race
Laguna Seca, Feb 11-12, 2006

Relaxed Sound Restriction set at 103db!

The best source for rooms in the Monterey area for the “Spring” Club event is
Resort to Me at 800-757-5646 or go to their website www.lodgingreservations.net
Their hours are M-F 8:30-5:30 Saturday 9:00-5:00 Sunday 12:00-5:00

Laguna Seca has confirmed that the track re-paving will not take place until after our
event. So you can still ride on the same pavement that all the MotoGP riders raced on last year!
There will be some construction in the run off areas in turn one but it will not effect any of the track surface.
This will be your last chance to experience the track before they flatten the hump going into the corkscrew.

We have a limited number of spaces available for this event so get your entry in early to insure a spot on the grid.

To enter the Spring Race go to:

What's Vintage?

Nope, '97 is not vintage. Vintage is usually defined as prior to Dec 31, 1972 for four-strokes, and prior to Dec 31, 1968 for two-strokes. Some bikes built after these dates are accepted if they are similar in design to previous models, like a mid 70s Guzzi or Ducati for example.
