I have a Motocomm DSR-100.

While it's nice to have a 'kit' with everything you need all packed away for you and the camera is small (lip-stick) and the recorder has some good features (easy to use even with gloves on, color playback, built in MP3 player), the video quality isnt that good and the mic is way too sensitive and non-adjustable - I tried ever config I could think of for resolution/file type and nothing helps the mic. Then you also have wires, battery pack, etc taped all over the place. I've been thinking about getting one of the go pro myself. Looks like they really do a nice job.

Couple videos made with my Motocomm

Seem very good quality image (and great raod too you got bro...:D)
but help me yo understand how this is work since i never see one in real. The device must be attach to another camera in order to record or is a real camera itself whit a hard disk memory? Play and stop have a remote part that we attach on handlebar or what? I guess should not be a problem to use with Mac computer.
Sorry for all question but i know i am in the right place for future knowledge
....:p;)
Thanks in advance....

I do not have one, but from reading the description it is an all in one recording device which stores data on an SD memory card, so you don;t need to plug it in a separate recorder like you would have to for a lipstick cam, And it is MAC compatible.

I do not know how one operates it, though...

yea, there are no wires or anything. Just a very light camera that is self contained. I hook a usb cable to it to download the clips and the same wire charges the unit. Of course since I am a mac nerd, I download it to my mac and and I used final cut software. only $279 US for the whole unit. Here is where I bought it.

These are the online retailers for the vholdr. I bet if you call all of them, one would ship overseas.

All of the systems that require a camera and a capture device are too complicated. Wires, tape, backpacks, tank bags forget it, and it looks like bonafide did just that. Try the gopro if no one will ship the vholdr. I was between the vholdr and the gopro, and I don't remember why I chose the vholdr. I think it looked cooler. and could be mounted at any angle. The lens turns.
