Any one used these... I have the gold clutch basket and can't resist the Idea of opening up the clutch side more,,!?? I know about fox performance as well .... I live in Hawaii but I am never really riding in the rain I don't see a down side to this mod/ has anyone had a bad experience with this mod?

the only major drawback is using up maybe a dozen cutoff wheels!

J/K, anyways, about all the same drawbacks as having an open, or no side cover, except it's permanent to that one cover.....and if you're handy enough to remove and reinstall the case cover, you can probably DIY too. just take your time, mark it off, have plenty of cutoff wheels and files. lots of ways to do it as well. easiest is probably to make "posts" leaving material only where it bolts to the case, or you could make "enclosed" vents, leaving a strip of material connecting each "post". i did the latter once, took a longer time, but looked nice!
