Hey guys, need some opinions here.
I took my 2008 1100s in recently to have some basic tuning done since I just put some termi slipon's on.
My mechanic says he believes my vertical cylinder needs new valve guides.
His evidence for this is that he was getting a high PPM reading of around 2000ppm with at o2 reading of only 3.5 or so. He stated that the ppm should be less than 900 and that the extra is most likely a bad valve guide leaking oil.
I don't know a whole lot about this so I am seeking yall's help in understanding if I really have a huge problem here or if it could be something else.
Thanks for any advice in advance.
