Both my coffin MCs are a little crustly looking, and rather than rebuild and refurbish these, I wanted to see if there some other alternatives. I know the same era Gold Line stuff will work, is there anything else out there a little less spendy? Preferably a set from a common Japanese bike or something.

Just about any 5/8" cyl. will work. Older GSXR, CBR Honda , R1 Etc. the benefit is a much better lever feel/power. You will have to make or adapt a mount for the remote reservoir though.The clutch cyl. is I think a 12mm you might have some trouble with that as I think the Japanese stuff is 14-15mm
