I realize this is probably a wasted effort but I'm seriously thinking of removing the stock cans, and cutting the weld, removing most, or all of the baffles to try to get some volume out this exhaust. The aftermarket pipes that have proven good so far are Zards, and Termi's both are wallet busters. Until someone comes out with a Conti style replica pipe that looks good and has a reasonable price, I'm saying away from the 24K pipes. Has anyone given thought to this project? Are there any alternative ideas to mangling the stock pipes? If not I'll go ahead with my idea and post the results. There should be a Govt regulation against corking up this motor so it can't be heard a foot away at an idle.
Before I get flamed with "wanna play, gotta pay" I've just spent the last 12 months modding my car, I know what real HP, and all the good stuff costs. I just have a hard time justifying $2000.00+ for a little rumble that's already there, it just needs to be unleashed.
