Probably not one of the smartest things I have ever done but, hey WTF. Anyways I own an st2 and a 916. I had to order a new ECU of fleabay for my ST2 and it came with the Ultimap EPROM chip in it (chip says Ultimap /ST2). I had my 916 pulled apart and decided to throw the ST2 ECU with the ultimap chip in it on there and I started it up. The thing feels like it is on Steroids now - Serious power increase. The 916 has carbon fiber cans on it, dont know what brand, rest of the exhaust is stock. Do you guys think this will F - the bike up if I run it with the st2 ultimap chip in the 916? I may very well be retarded for even trying this so feel free to confirm that as well.

Tks for the answers guys, I am certainy interested in tuning this thing properly if that is the case. Do you have any suggestions as to what set up would be best? ( I do all of my own work mechincally, but have not really messed with the ECU/computer side of the bike) so would be looking for something that I would be able to learn fairly quickly. Tks again !
