I am so excited I had to share. I got my track dates and such all worked out and the 2006 season looks to be a great one for me.

18 Track Nights

12 Track Days

4 Track Schools

My track bodywork just arrived so have to sticker and paint that up. Tick Tock Tick Tock!

Woohoo!

Dude.. WTF is a trackNIGHT???
Track Nights - 5pm till Dusk. Gives us about 4 or 5 hours of useable track time.

Don't other tracks offer evening sessions? I can't believe that our little track is the ONLY one to do so.

Cheers!

none here do....
Never heard o' dat!

Cornerworkers and ambulance punch the clock at 5:00 and all must vacate the premises.

:)
Wow... I had never thought about that actually.

The nights are the norm for us here in Calgary. The track Days are the ones we look forward to as well as the out of province/out of country trips for the same reason.

The track nights are a really good alternative in my mind. 4-5 hours of track time and you don't have to use up a vacation day, miss work or anything. Load up the bike the night before, skip lunch, leave a bit early and boom...weekly track time!

Our Ambulance and Corner Workers show up around 4:30pm, which is the same time Bike Tech is. Track is green at 5pm and the sessions start.
I've always thought it would be a bit "iffy" to schedule trackdays too close to each other without having a backup bike. Most trackday sponsors want a specified amount of time for you to cancel to be able to get a refund. I'd hate to have a little mishap at the track that also cost me the fees of 2-4 trackdays added to it. A simple backorder on a part can sit you out for a month or more. It sure sounds like a lot of fun, though......I wish I knew I was even going to do one trackday this year, but finances probably aren't going to be there with a 15-month old at the house......and some other expensive hobbies.
First time I ever heard of a Track Night... looks like you got a whole year of fun ahead of you! POST PICS!
Wow I guess that's one reason to not hate Canada any longer. :)

"Blame Canada"
Track Nights?

Here in the US we have too many attorney's looking for the next lawsuit....

We'll never see one here, but it sounds like a great way to feed the addiction!
In Sweden it´s not so much the Trackpersonal or ambulance personal, but rather noise restrictions. After 5.00PM the track must stay quit.. Sucks, but whatchagonnado

Oh our track here is in the middle of (the industrial and landfill :)) nowhere. So noise is not a big issue.

Oh that is a very good point. I hadn't even considered that aspect. There are other tracks in British Columbia (Mission comes to mind) that have noise restrictions but they are enforced all the time so all the bikes have to revert to stock exhausts and even that isn't enough sometimes.

I will have pictures for sure and I hope to have onboard video as well but that not having done that before, its going to be a bit of learning curve to get decent quality.

Cheers!
