Getting ready for an extended trip with wife on back of my '05 ST3. Wondering what my choices are for a rear tour pak?

If you wife is on the back then there'll be little space for a tail pack also, so you might want to consider a Ducati topbox or a givi one?

The DP tank bag an protector is good but hard to find now.

Bagster do one which is still available, then u can chose the baglux bag you want to go with it.

I used a double expanding Chase Harper tank bag on my trip and as i had no passenger i used a Twisted Throttle bag set sideways on the back seat.

I choose to get the bag set for the rear but only used the ridged bottom bag except one day i had the D28 roll on top with dirty clothes before hitting the laundry Matt.

I've seen others with two D28 on top on the hard bags but not seen it with passenger yet...

What ever works is good I have seen guys with a hundred Bungee cords .

I would say that your only viable option is a Ventura Bike Pack System.

We ride two up as well and am cosidering the small rack and trail bag.

I'll second or third the Ventura pack. Have used one for many miles in conjunction with a Corbin seat w/backrest for the wife. Very good and reasonably priced system.

update on Ventura rack system. I picked up the new to me st4s that had
the stock side cases. I wasn't sure I could fit the Ventura up with those.
Tonight I moved the ventura rack over from my old ST4 to the new ST4s.
Works perfectly with the non-fango racks on top of the ventura L brackets.

I used a Ventura rack and pack on my 748. The bag is very top quality and customer service is great too. I lost a screw for the rack and they sent one out to me asap!

hey Jerry, I doubt you'll find a used set but Ventura has them for around $70.
Great folks to deal with too.
