I've added 1" spacers to my handlebar bolts, and I made sure they're nice and tight. But I assume there's an actual spec for this somewhere. Anyone know it?

You didn't say what bike. Maybe all the same? On my SC1000 the spec is 24 Nm.

Sorry, it's a GT1000. But I'd be surprised if it was different.

Is 24Nm the top '4' clamp bolts, or the 2 larger ones into the triple-tree?

That's for the screws that clamp the clipons to the fork tubes (you don't have those), but the clamp bolts on the top triple also get 24 Nm. Clamp bolts on the lower triple get 20 Nm.

Are you actually asking about the screws that clamp the handbars top triple on the GT? I don't know the torque spec for those.

I got a service manual for the GT1000 and it specifies 35Nm (+/- 5%) for the "Handlebar top clamp bolt." From the size spec that they're referring to the 4 bolts in the top clamp, and 45Nm for the lower clamp attachment to the tree.
