Before I go spend 75$ on oil and filter I thought I'd ask if anyone knows were to get the right kind of oil for my 848 for less then 55$ a gallon

Walmart has mobil 1 full synthetic 20w 50 for v twin for $22 a gallon or 6 a quart. I bought the same oil at cycle gear for almost 12 a quart. I just put in repsol 15w 50 it is a little better for the cold weather. I think it was 13 a quart. before that I had Motul at 55 a gal.

Check out the Superbike forum on this site and look through the old posts to see if someone else has asked this or done it. Check also the Hall of Wisdom forum, too.

How many miles do you have now? A good grade of dino oil certainly won't hurt an engine, just change it every 2000 miles.

Went with spectro golden 4 for 38 bucks didn't want to spend too much time researching this as I wanted to do it b4 work today , thanks everyone
