Cheers henk!!!

The bike is pretty cool, but the motor is stonking...here's whats in it

-Ferracci crank,(made for this engine)
-carrillo rods
-Heads fully ported by ferracci himself, intakes welded up and reprofiled, Brad Black further weaved his magic on the exhaust side then ceramic coated
-JE hi comp pistons, dry graphite coated skirts and ceramic coated domes
-Custom Brad Black grind valves from vee two race blanks, tuff trided then face ceramic coated 45mm intake/40 exhaust
-vee two "daytona" grind cams with 14 deg longer duration than std and set at 112 deg centerline
-Brad set the squish to .9
-mbp collets
-nichols mfg flywheel
phenolic spacers yet go between head and manifold
removed starter and alternator for a total loss ignition and will run on e85

weighs in at 54kg with everything on it bar the oil

massive thanks to brad black, he may chime in on how hard this engine was to put right!!!

That frame and engine look very nice!
If I have to be picky, not a fan of the oil cooler

Did you make the frame yourself? Looks a bit like a Pierobon :)

i copied the pierobon but mine doesn't pick up the swinger. Im a engineer and was going to design my own but after putting their design thru analysis, it was a no brainer to copy it. Fantastic design!!!

Oiler cooler is there for function, not design. I was worried that the extra heat would rob horsepower but i agree it's pretty out there.

I ceramic coated the piston dome, chamber with valves in place, ehaust port and entire exhaust inside and out. The company was HPC coatings. They do this to the local factory holden (GM) race team engines so if its good enough for them...

No rush for the roll out. I still have to make the bracket to mount the carbon dash holder that mounts the nose cone to the head stem...if that makes any sense? also the brackets for the rearsets,(just little down legs) and the battery/ignition box. Once it all fabricated i'll tear the whole thing down, acid wash all the alloy and scotch bright it then reassemble it. Brad black will dyno
it to run on E85 then its off to broardford,(local track) with cam donald,(TT fame) on it to break the lap record---we'll thats the plan and should all be done in about 6 weeks.

The exhaust is a termi 45mm spaghetti header system with carbon cans. I bought it new for a 1000 monster as i couldn't get anything in 45mm for the ss that i could find...quite nervy cutting a brand new header system straight out of the box to fit the ss swinger.

For your can henk!!!, i would suggest just gutting a standard one as once they are gutted they offer no performance difference to aftermarkets cans. if you want it to be really cool, get a reverse cone OPEN magaphone on the end of your 2 into 1. It'll help with torque.

aah no i see it on you new pic's that you have a can on both sides.
that is also what i have now from akrapovic.
but i want to change to a can on one side to loose some more weight.
i have some kind of megaphone laying as well it came with the 2 in 1 but it weighs way to much.
i go to the ducati club races in assen(netherlands)this week maybe i find some inspiration over there.

Great build! The bike looks a beaut and with all the mods and the weight reduction she'll probably handle even better :) Now please excuse me while I get some tissues to wipe my drool off the keyboard :p

Although it relates to an S4, there's a report on Brad Black's site (BikeBoy.org Ducati 4v Report no 56) that might be helpful.

It all looks fantastic! I don't know if you know this or not, but the engine probably won't run too well with that rag stuck down in there!:D
