Where is a good place to get a wiring diagram (?block diagram?) for a '04 749?
I guess any diagram for the **9 series would be 95+% compatible...

The schematics use to be included at the rear of the owner's manual. It ticks me off to see they're omitted from the new manuals.

How 'bout this: Write to DUCATI. Express your concern and need. Remind them that it was part of the purchase of your "..1999 Monster" (or whatever). Tell them that a $13000.00 m/c should include it, and can they please email you one? Hey, what can they say, "No"?

Hte 749R website thread in here has a multi lingual manual that has a wiring diagram next to the last page. it's about a 10Mb download, but worth it.

Keep in mind that this is the R model, so no directionals...but I would guess that a lot of the stuff is similar.

Nice list of ducks you had. Had a '82 pantah myself- great little bikes- even today. Though I'm sure you understand when I say I would never, never, NEVER want to go back to Ducati electricals of those days!

I called my local Ducati house when I was looking for the wiring diagram for the talights on a 749. The faxed me a copy in 30 minutes.

Look close to page 160 and onwards...that's the English section. Each section is about 90 pages long. Eng. is section 2
