I managed to dent the tank on my 748. I wish I had a glorious story, but I knocked it over performing basic maintenance. Now I’m stuck trying to determine if I should replace it or have it professionally repaired. I’m guessing replacing it is going to cost slightly more. But if I have it repaired, I have a concern that the bondo (or whatever is used) will end up cracking over time due to the typical vibrations and temperature changes a tank goes through. On top of all that, either way I need to have it painted blue to match the rest of my paint job. Anyone have a tank repaired before? And how has it held up?

Lastly, if I go with the repair route, any suggestions on where to take it? I prefer around Baltimore/Washington area, but I would also consider sending it out. Thanks for any advice.
